Lori-Ann believes that individuals are the experts in their own lives and have within themselves the strength and capacity to facilitate change. Her approach is client-centered and trauma informed while relying on attachment theory and the individual’s inherit strength. Curiosity, compassion, exploring resilience, and learning to hold space for the authentic self, is what she hopes to provide clients within the therapy room.
Lori-Ann began her career in the helping field eleven years ago working with high-needs children and youth, in addition to family preservation. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Lori-Ann strives to be a lifelong learner, developing her self-awareness and being evidence based in her clinical work. She loves facilitating trainings regarding parent & child co-regulation, self-compassion, and vicarious trauma.
Lori-Ann enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. She is committed to engaging her clients in efforts to promote, foster and create meaningful change in their life.
